What's on in York

York has always been a cultural hotspot with a cosmopolitan centre that combines its stunning heritage with contemporary events, festivals and evening entertainment. 

The highlight of this summer is the Grand Tour in York. Fourty nine full size recreations of masterpieces, from Monet to Van Gogh are hung around the city and have transformed it into a gallery!

Annual favourites include St Nicholas Fayre the Jorvik Viking Festival and the Food and Drink Festival as well as some of the best flat horse racing in Britain.  York also boasts a superb range of museums and galleries offering a fantastic range of permanent and visiting exhibitions meaning there is always something new to see.
